<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular steering device capable of performing turning of a turning wheel in a steer-by-wire method just after a power supply is turned on.SOLUTION: A vehicular steering device includes an absolute position detector 15 of a turning shaft 5, a reference position detector 16 of the turning shaft 5, a rotation detector 17 of a turning motor 13, and a control part. The control part acquires absolute position information of the turning shaft 5 on the basis of the output of the absolute position detector 15 to write it in a current position counter when the power supply is turned on, then changes the value of the current position counter in accordance with the rotation amount of the turning motor 13 detected by the rotation detector 17, resets the value of the current position counter when the reference position detector 16 detects that the turning shaft 5 comes to the reference position, and then changes the value of the current position counter in accordance with the rotation amount of the turning motor 13 detected by the rotation detector 17.</p> |
