The present invention relates to a brace friction damper with a variable resisting force, which comprises: a support unit installed in a structure; a damping rod coupled to the support unit; a coupling unit coupling the support unit and the damping rod; and a friction pad fixated to the damping rod between the support unit and the damping rod, and rubbed with the support unit as being coupled to be slid and moved along the support unit. According to the present invention, the brace friction damper with a variable resisting force can more effectively prevent deformation and damage to a building due to an occurrence of an earthquake by reducing an external force applied to a structure as a plurality of friction pads slide. |
