PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction in image forming positional accuracy due to heat generated in an operation unit.SOLUTION: The amount of misalignment in an image forming position due to heat generated in a polygon motor 43 can be estimated from rotation speed of the polygon motor 43 in a period from the previous image formation to the start of current image formation. A printer 1 determines the amount of adjustment according to the rotation speed of the polygon motor 43, adjusts a previous image forming position on the basis of the amount of adjustment, and determines the adjusted image forming position as an image forming position in the current image formation. The image forming positional accuracy can be prevented from being reduced due to heat generated by the polygon motor 43. |
