PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber core wire in which the coexistence of ZSA properties and the high speed curability is made possible.SOLUTION: Provided is an optical fiber core wire 10 containing: a glass optical fiber 13; a primary covering layer 16 of covering the outer circumference of the glass optical fiber 13; and a secondary covering layer 17 covering the outer circumference of the primary covering layer, in which the Young's modulus of the primary covering layer 16 is 1.2 MPa or lower, the Young's modulus of the secondary covering layer is 800 MPa or higher, the content of sulfur in the surface of the glass optical fiber 13 is 0.2 atomic% or higher, and sulfur is not present in the vicinity of the outer circumference of the primary covering layer 16. |
