PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine capable of changing a distance between needle location points of cut needles according to cloth thickness of a work cloth.SOLUTION: Cut needles can be mounted on a sewing machine. The sewing machine includes a cloth thickness sensor. The sewing machine changes a distance between needle location points of cut data according to the cloth thickness detected by the cloth thickness sensor. For example, when needle location points P5-P19 out of the needle location points P1-P32 are inside a specific area 484 in which the cloth thickness is thicker than a predetermined value, the sewing machine adds needle location points Q1-Q15 between the needle location points of the cut data to make the distance between the needle location points small. The sewing machine performs cut work on a work cloth by the cut needles according to the cut data in which the distance between the needle location points is changed. |
