<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition coil for internal combustion engine excellent in production efficiency and cost and not requiring a complex mold, in which a waterproof space is maintained by connecting a case and a cover reliably, in an ignition coil including an air chamber for preventing such a phenomenon as the water intrudes into a plug hole.SOLUTION: A cover 50 and a case 20 are connected by fitting an air chamber side rib 62 and an air chamber side rib insertion hole 24, while a ventilation part and the case 20 are connected by fitting a ventilation part side rib 64 and a ventilation part side rib insertion hole 26. The air chamber side rib 62 and the ventilation part side rib 64 are formed with such a length that the tip of the air chamber side rib 62 and the tip of the ventilation part side rib 64 reach the inner wall of the case 20, when they are fitted in the air chamber side rib insertion hole 24 and the ventilation part side rib insertion hole 26.</p> |
