<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the ventilation resistance of a filter element.SOLUTION: A filter element 40 includes a pleated filter part 41, a seal member 43 provided at an outer peripheral edge of the filter part 41 over mountain parts 41a of pleats, and an end seal material 42 for sealing a region encircled by the filter part 41 at ends in ridge line directions of the pleats and the seal member 43. On recessed parts 42a of the end seal material 42 formed resulting from the pleated shape of the filter part 41, weirs 44 are provided for restricting the entry of a resin material to be the seal member 43, respectively.</p> |
