<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subject information acquisition apparatus capable of stabilizing the load on a subject when the subject is held and scanned with a probe to acquire information.SOLUTION: A subject information acquisition apparatus comprises: subject holding means which is composed of a first holding member 4 and a second holding member 5 facing the first holding member 4, and presses and holds a subject 2a by moving at least one of the holding members; an acoustic wave probe 6 which is disposed in the opposite side to the plane of the second holding member 5 with which the subject 2a comes into contact, and configured to allow scanning on the second holding member 5; and adjustment means which corrects the holding load on the subject 2a when the holding load on the subject 2a changes.</p> |
