<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus having a configuration, regardless of the simple configuration, capable of bending a bending section to a maximum bending angle and preventing it from bending equal to or more than the maximum bending angle.SOLUTION: The endoscope apparatus includes: wires 30u, 30d, and 30r; bending pieces 22j and 22m that, when the bending section is bent to the maximum bending angle with traction of the wires 30u, 30d, and 30r, are brought into contact with a bending piece 22k and electrically connected thereto; and a control unit 60 that, when the bending section is bent to the maximum bending angle, detects a voltage change generated when the bending pieces 22j and 22m come into contact with the bending piece 22k to be electrically connected thereto, and commands the wires 30u, 30d, and 30r to stop the traction using a pulley and motors 38 and 39.</p> |
