The present invention relates to an apparatus to cut a positive electrode which consecutively cuts a positive electrode sheet with a laser beam. According to a desirable embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus to cut the positive electrode with a laser beam comprises: a laser oscillator emitting laser beam; and a focused lens focusing the laser beam emitted from the laser oscillator and irradiating the same to the positive electrode sheet to cut the positive electrode sheet wherein the size of a focus spot of the laser beam shot on the surface of the positive electrode sheet is 10-50 μm and an energy density greater than or equal to 25 J/cm^2 on the focus spot.
