The present invention relates to a heater controlling device and heater controlling method for an eco-friendly vehicle and, more specifically, to a heater controlling device and heater controlling method for an eco-friendly vehicle capable of controlling a PCT heater more stable and minimizing an energy loss by adopting a pulse width modulation (PWM) method. The present invention includes a signal input unit; the PCT heater which is a heat source for heating; a control unit determining the amount of power to be supplied to the PCT heater by determining a target temperature according to a request for heating and determining the duty of PMW signals; a switch operating the PCT heater by being switched on according to the PWM signals of the control unit; and a charging unit charging and discharging when the switch is switched on or off according to the PWM signals of the control unit to protect the PCT heater. |
