PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently secure a bending load on and after a maximum bending load while enlarging the maximum bending load of a rear side frame.SOLUTION: A rear vehicle body structure of a vehicle has a side frame 1 having a cross section formed in a U-shape which extends to a fore-and-aft direction, and opened at its upper part. A bead part 21 which extends in the fore-and-aft direction is formed at a bottom wall part 11 of the rear side frame 1. A bent part 22 which is bent so as to protrude toward the inside of the cross section of the rear side frame 1 is formed at a vertical wall part 13 of the rear side frame 1 at a cabin side. A vehicle outside inclined face 21b at the outside of a vehicle width direction and a vehicle inside inclined face 21c at the inside of the vehicle width direction are formed at the bottom wall part 11 accompanied by the formation of the bead part 21 in a cross section view. An inclination angle of the vehicle inside inclined face 21c is set smaller than an inclination angle of the vehicle outside inclined face 21b. |
