PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding agent for lithium ion batteries superior in cycle characteristics.SOLUTION: A binding agent (C) for a negative electrode comprises a resin produced by modification of a polyalkyleneimine (A) with a reactive compound (B). The reactive compound (B) is at least one compound selected from a group consisting of an aromatic epoxy compound (B1), an alicyclic epoxy compound (B2), an aromatic isocyanate compound (B3) and an alicyclic isocyanate compound (B4). It is preferable that the polyalkyleneimine (A) is a polyethyleneimine (A1), and the content of a silicon-based active material (D1) in an active material (D) is 0.5-100 wt.%. |
