PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regional energy management system and a vehicle charging system, enabling an appropriate start of charging a new vehicle in consideration of power price.SOLUTION: A regional energy management system 10 includes a center 20 and a vehicle charging system 30. The vehicle charging system 30 includes power station equipment 40, 41, 42, 43 and a controller 50. The controller 50 schedules suppression power to suppress electric power charge to a constant, using prediction information of power price from the center 20. Based on the scheduled suppression power, the controller 50 determines whether or not charging of a new vehicle of a charge target is to be started, taking into consideration power required for completing the charge of the new vehicle of the charge target. |
