PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus that is able to substantially prevent occurrence of false color when a blurred color image is restored.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 2 according to the invention comprises: an imaging optical system 3 that images a target 1 to be imaged; a color imager 4 that image-receives the target 1 as a blurred, defective image via the imaging optical system 3; a restoration processing section 5C configured such that, for each color obtained from the imager 4, a defective image is formed from pixel data output from each pixel, then, the defective image is subjected to an imaging process, thereby restoring an image, from which blur is removed; and an effective information nullifying section 5B configured such that, in order to prevent occurrence of false color, effective information used for restoring process on the saturated area side of the pixel data is nullified. |
