PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector which is safe, which has a simple structure, where the removal performance of air dust is enhanced and which does not clog for a long term.SOLUTION: An electric dust collection filter unit is provided with an ionization means 7 to ionize air at an upstream side and a filter part 8 at a downstream side. A cottony filter body 16 laminated to be cottony with charged fibers 17 and conductive fibers 18 being uniformly mixed in a ventilation direction is housed in a filter case 14 having a lattice-like conductor 15 at a bottom or a top part. The filter part 8 is composed by coming into contact with the conductive fibers 18 and the lattice-like conductor 15 and being conductive with each other. The conductive fibers 18 is connected to the ground via the lattice-like conductor 15.
