The present invention relates to a smart security CCTV system and a control method thereof. The smart security CCTV system has a sensor node which is implemented based on a wireless sensor network on an installation target and recognizes the movement of the installation target mounted with the acceleration sensor included in the sensor node to track the object. Accordingly, the smart security CCTV system controls a PTZ camera efficiently to track the moving object through a large area while decreasing the computation amount required for image processing and enables the sensor node to be flexibility mounted by implementing a wireless mesh network, thereby increasing the efficiency of the installation process.
