PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode active material including nano silicon which can exhibit stable battery characteristics.SOLUTION: A negative electrode active material comprises nano silicon of which a peak width of a silicon diffraction peak arising near 2&thetas;=28.4 degrees in XRD spectra measured with Cu Kα rays is 1.0 degree or larger. Using the negative electrode active material comprising such nano silicon, a power storage device high in battery characteristic such as an initial efficiency, and stable in quality can be arranged. |
