<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device that allows preventing biased magnetization of a transformer without directly detecting magnetic flux density of the transformer and without excessively increasing the ET product of the transformer.SOLUTION: A power conversion device 1 includes a voltage application circuit 11, a transformer 12, and a control circuit 16. The transformer 12 has primary windings 120 and 121, and secondary windings 122 and 123. The control circuit 16 controls the pulse width of a pulse voltage outputted from the voltage application circuit 11 so that the amplitude of a current flowing through the primary winding 120 when positive magnetic flux occurs is equal to the amplitude of a current flowing through the primary winding 121 when negative magnetic flux occurs. For this reason, the amplitude of an excitation current in generating positive magnetic flux can be equal to the amplitude of excitation current in generating negative magnetic flux. In other words, the amplitude of the positive magnetic flux can be equal to the amplitude of the negative magnetic flux. Thus, biased magnetization of the transformer can be prevented without excessively increasing the ET product of the transformer.</p> |
