PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing apparatus configured to prevent a position of a developer regulation member from being varied in advance, without using a fastening component of the developer regulation member, and an image forming apparatus using the same.SOLUTION: A developing device includes a developing sleeve 141 and magnetic field generating means 147 arranged inside thereof. A developer carrier for conveying a two-component developer carried thereon to a photoreceptor 14Y is included in a developing device casing 144 formed of resin. A developer regulation section 146 whose tip faces the surface of the developing sleeve and for regulating thickness of a layer of the two-component developer on the developing sleeve is integrated with the developing device casing.
