The present invention comprises: a tub; a drum arranged to be rotary inside the tub; a dry unit having a blast pan which inhales the air inside the drum and the tub, and a dry heater which heats the air inside the drum and the tub; a lint filter which filters a foreign substance included in the inhaled air; and a control unit which turns on and turns off the dry heater and the blast pan according to a temperature of the dry duct. The control unit decides blockage of the lint filter based on the temperature of the dry duct and the tub, and the turn on-time of the dry heater when the dry heater is turned off. A washing apparatus, which washes the lint filter according to the blockage of the lint filter, is capable of washing the lint filter even when wash, rinsing, and dehydration processes are not performed as the washer washes the lint filter during the dry process, and the apparatus is also capable of circulating air between the dry duct and the tub during the dry process. |
