Disclosed are a terminal enabling to watch a plurality of broadcast channels at the same time and a control method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a mobile terminal comprises: a broadcast receiving unit for receiving a broadcast with respect to at least one broadcast channel; an output unit for outputting a broadcast with respect to at least one broadcast channel; and a control unit for controlling the output unit to output a plurality of areas and controlling broadcasts with respect to different broadcast channels to be output at the same time through the areas, when a user input for watching a plurality of broadcast channels is received. |
