The present invention relates to a system for calculating user′s estimated arrival time according to driver′s preference and an operation method thereof, wherein a variety of services are provided by analyzing a user′s driving preference using navigation, a driver′s preference and the driver′s preference weight value are determined by comparing the estimated passing time with respect to real-time traffic information on each section with user′s driving passing time, and correct arrival time is provided to the user by adding the driver′s preference weight value according to the driver′s preference at the first arrival time in which the real-time traffic information is reflected. The present invention has technical characteristics, comprising the steps such that: a first step wherein navigation and operation method to calculate the estimated arrival time according to the driver′s preference calculates the first estimated arrival time, from departure to destination reflecting the real-time traffic information; a second step wherein the second estimated arrival time is calculated by adding the driver′s preference weight value at the first estimated arrival time that is calculated; and a third step wherein the second estimated arrival time that is calculated is displayed on the navigation. |
