PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose a system and a method of monitoring a double polarization signal.SOLUTION: This system and method has a step for adding a first supervisory signal to the first polarization component of a double polarization signal in order to obtain a first coupling signal, a step for adding a second supervisory signal to the second polarization component of the double polarization signal in order to obtain a second coupling signal, and a step for performing a polarization scan technique for the first and second coupling signals in an electric region.
