PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to allow a user to safely and easily change a model.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a body with a replaceable unit having a storage medium, configured to form an image by use of the replaceable unit; image processing control means which stores multiple kinds of setting information required for image formation, according to a mode of the body; and control means which performs read and write operations with respect to the storage medium. The control means reads mode information from the storage medium, and selects one kind of setting information from the multiple kinds of setting information, according to the mode information. |
