PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing pressure roll having low roll hardness, low heat capacity, and low coefficient of thermal expansion, and a fixing device.SOLUTION: A pressure roll 1 used in a fixing unit of a fixing device includes a core body 10 and an elastic layer 11 provided on the periphery of the core body 10, where the elastic layer 11 is composed of silicone rubber that is obtained by mixing and dispersing silicone rubber material, micro resin balloon, and water, and then curing the silicone rubber material, and the silicone rubber includes gaps that are formed of the micro resin balloon and gaps that are smaller than the above-mentioned gaps and formed by evaporation of water. |
