The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a zeolite separation membrane and a zeolite separation membrane manufactured thereby. The method for manufacturing a zeolite separation membrane according to the present invention comprises: a zeolite hydrothermal solution manufacturing step of mixing raw materials of zeolite to manufacture a zeolite hydrothermal solution in the form of a sol; a seed crystal attaching step of attaching a zeolite seed crystal to the surface of a porous supporter; a sol particle coating step of coating the surface of the porous supporter having the attached zeolite seed crystal with zeolite sol particles; and a layer forming step of adding the zeolite hydrothermal solution to a hydrothermal reactor, immersing the porous supporter coated with the sol particles in the zeolite hydrothermal solution, and performing hydrothermal treatment so as to form a zeolite layer.
