PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition for metal processing which is environment-friendly without containing chlorine and can achieve improvement in processing efficiency and improvement in tool life without causing turbidity.SOLUTION: There is provided a lubricant composition which is a mixture of a lubricant base oil and [A] a crosslinked sulfide ester having a specific structure (such as a crosslinked product of methyl oleate) [A1] and a cyclic sulfide ester having a specific structure (such as a crosslinked product of methyl linoleate) [A2], where the lubricant composition comprises 1 to 50 mass% of a sulfide ester which satisfies the mass ratio ([A1]/[A2]) of [A1] to [A2] of 0.8 to 20 based on the total amount of the lubricant composition and 0.1 to 10 mass% of calcium sulfonate [B] having a metal ratio of 6 or more based on the total amount of the lubricant composition.
