PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillator capable of reducing loss of a terahertz wave to be oscillated.SOLUTION: The oscillator is configured to oscillate a terahertz wave, and has a resonator 102 including a negative resistance element 101, a first conductor 108, a second conductor 109, and a dielectric 107, and a line 1031 which applies a bias voltage to the negative resistance element, and the negative resistance element and the dielectric are arranged between the first conductor and second conductor, and connects with the line of the first conductor at a node of an electric field of a terahertz wave standing in the resonator. |
