<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing radioactive strontium, capable of corresponding to various environments contaminated with radioactive strontium.SOLUTION: The method for removing radioactive strontium discharged into an environment using an organic polymer fiber 2 with ions absorbed therein and forming a poorly soluble salt with strontium confined in the fiber by reacting with the ions on the fiber to form the poorly soluble salt comprises removing radioactive strontium by immersing the fiber into a contaminated lake or river, etc., to be taken out.
