The invention relates to a device for assisting with the movement of partially or entirely sightless persons; wherein the assistance device comprises a loop of parallel electric guide conductors (12) arranged along a path to be travelled by a sight-impaired person in public spaces; the loop conducts an AC current supplied by an AC emitter (11), such that a magnetic receiver (13) perceives said magnetic field and outputs an information signal based on the measured magnetic field, the information signal being adapted to the perceptive capacity of the partially or entirely sightless person wearing the magnetic receiver; and the emitter (11) can modulate the generated signal in order to transmit information to the receiver (13). |
