摘要 The present invention is a nitrogen reduction method for molten steel in an electric furnace and, more specifically, is a nitrogen reduction method for molten steel in an electric furnace which controls an amount of nitrogen during the iron making process by adjusting the amount of carbon and oxygen. The present invention comprises: a first melting step where a first scrap is loaded into an electric furnace and melted with an arc; a second melting step where a second scrap is loaded into the electric furnace and melted with an arc; and a heating step where the molten steel produced from the second melting step is oxidized, and oxygen and carbon are fed for the formation of a slag. The amount of carbon fed in the second melting step and the heating step is 7-11 kg per ton of molten steel, the amount of oxygen fed in the said steps is 15-18 Nm^3 per ton of molten steel, and the ratio of carbon and oxygen being greater than 0.5.
