An apparatus and a method tor shifting voltage level are provided. The apparatus for shifting voltage level comprises: an inverter connected between a first node having an input signal and a second node wherein a reversal signal of the input signal is printed; a first voltage transform unit connected between the first node and a voltage line and turned on when a high level signal is entered to the first node; a second voltage transform unit connected between the second node and the voltage line and turned on when a low level signal is entered to the first node; and a current restriction unit connected to the first and the second voltage transform units limiting the amount of current flowing on the first and the second voltage transform units, with the first and the second voltage transform units being current mirror circuits. |
