<p>An underwater vehicle (1) operable in a first mode of free swimming and a second mode of carting on a submerged surface of an object(2), comprising a body(100),a single set of wheels (200) consisting of two wheels (200a, 200b) attached rotatably to the body at a first end of the body by an attachment means (230) providing a pivot axis allowing pivoting of the body relative to the set of wheels, and a thruster means (300) attached to the body for propulsion of the vehicle when operating in the free swimming mode and for providing a force on the body to pivot the body of the vehicle about the pivot axis when operating in the mode of carting on the submerged surface of the object.</p> |
