STERILIZATION TRAY AND WET HEAT STERILIZATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilization tray which allows a resin container to be satisfactorily sterilized with steam or hot water, with prevention of deformation of the resin container; and a wet heat sterilization method.SOLUTION: A sterilization tray 20 includes a tray body 22 and a pressure applying member 24 movable in the vertical direction to the tray body 22. The bottom of the tray body 22 includes a punching plate through which high-pressure steam or hot water passes during wet heat sterilization, and the frame 24a of the pressure applying member 24 includes a porous member through which steam or hot water passes. When a plurality of sterilization trays 20 are stacked in a state that the resin container (multi-chamber container) 1 is placed on the sterilization tray 20, the pressure applying member 24 of the sterilization tray 20 on the upper side applies pressure to the peripheral part of a vacant chamber part 1b of the resin container 1, so that deformation of the resin container 1 can be prevented during wet heat sterilization.
