<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle-riding type electric vehicle in which an electric motor and a control unit for controlling the electric motor can be compactly laid out in a longitudinal direction.SOLUTION: An electric motor is arranged below a battery. In a vehicle are provided a motor control unit 29 that receives power of the battery and supplies the power of the battery to the electric motor and a case 28 that stores the motor control unit 29 therein. The case 28, positioned below the battery and in front of the electric motor, is provided in such a posture that the width thereof in a vertical direction is larger than the width in a longitudinal direction in a side view of a vehicle body.</p> |
