The present invention relates to a method for producing expanded polystyrene foam. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for producing expanded polystyrene foam, which can be expanded at an expansion rate of 130 times higher, and can obtain an excellent molded product having superior strength even in a short aging period by producing expanded polystyrene foam by going through steps of expanding, foaming, drying, maturing, and molding under specific conditions using a styrene polymer having a high molecular weight.
