<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of improving an assembling property without increasing insertion force into a terminal storing hole of a terminal.SOLUTION: A connector 1 is equipped with a housing 5 having a terminal storing hole 3, a terminal 9 stored in the terminal storing hole 3, and a locking lance 11 provided in the terminal storing hole 3 so as to be bent. The terminal 9 has a connecting portion 13 formed in a regular polygonal cylindrical shape, and the connecting portion 13 is provided with an engaged portion 15 with which the locking lance 11 is engaged. The terminal 9 is provided with a plurality of inclined surfaces 19 which is positioned to the terminal storing hole 3 by making any plane surface of an outer periphery of the connecting portion 13 abut on an inner wall surface of the terminal storing hole 3, forms an opening portion 7 of the terminal storing hole 3 in a circular shape enabling the connecting portion 13 of the terminal 9 to rotate, and abuts on a corner portion 17 of the connecting portion 13 to rotate the connecting portion 13 when the connecting portion 13 of the terminal 9 is inserted between an opening 7 in the terminal storing hole 3 and the locking lance 11, spirally in an insertion direction.</p> |
