FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: method involves performing anthropometric measurements, cm: body length (BL), leg length (LL), shoulder diameter (SD), pelvic diameter (PD) and hip circumference (HC). That is followed by calculating a somatotype index (SI) in male adolescents by equation SI={[2.13×(LL-SD)-BL]/[PD+0.003×HC]}+2.95.
