FIELD: transport.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for feeding labels comprising label tape towards feeding to position of distribution in clipper. In addition, the invention relates to label feeding method. Label feeder is provided with feeding mechanism with at least one pusher for label tape transportation. The pusher reversibly travels in parallel to feeding direction between the first and the second positions where in the first position the pusher is minimally shifted into distribution position, and in the second position the pusher is maximally shifted into distribution position. Additionally, the feeder contains at least one cutting tool connected with the pusher to cut off the front label of label tape as viewed in feeding direction in the first position, and at least one clamping device to clamp label tape when the front label is in the first position.EFFECT: label feeding method improvement.24 cl, 9 dwg |
