The present invention relates to an apparatus for treating waste water containing high concentration organic materials and ammonia and, more specifically, to an apparatus for treating waste water containing high concentration organic materials and ammonia including a membrane module and an electrolysis process, with an enhanced structure to be cost-effectively operated by enabling hypochlorite generated from an electrolysis process of waste water containing chlorine to be used in cleaning of a membrane module. The present invention relates to the apparatus for treating waste water containing high concentration organic materials and ammonia, comprising: a detection tank for temporarily storing the waste water containing the high concentration organic materials and ammonia; a membrane module for removing floating matters by making waste water stored in the detection facility pass through a membrane; a pressurization pump for pressurizing waste water flowing into the membrane module; an electrolysis tank for electrolyzing waste water without floating matters by passing through the membrane module; a backwash water tank for temporarily storing treated water of the electrolysis tank; a first measurement means for measuring the concentration of free residual chlorine or hypochlorite of the backwash water tank; a transfer means for transferring treated water of the electrolysis tank to the backwash water tank depending on the result of the first measurement means; and a backwash transfer means for transferring treated water stored in the backwash water tank to the membrane module in order to chemically clean the membrane of the membrane module. |
