Disclosed is a winding apparatus for manufacturing an electrode assembly of a cylindrical secondary battery comprising: a mandrel with a rod for forming the electrode assembly in a jelly-roll fashion by winding the electrode and a stacked structure of the separation membrane, which creates a friction that decreases a coating layer made of CONIF on the outer surface of the mandrel.
