The present invention provides a knife sharpening device to grind various types of blades which has a wide storage space to allow users to store tools and knives; and has functional properties to allow beginners to easily grind blades. The knife sharpening device comprises: a base frame; a supporter joined to a left and right side of the base frame to come in contact with the ground; a water collection vessel inserted into a space between both supporters; a support installed in the middle top of the base frame; a driving shaft joined to a driven pulley; a driving motor installed in a rear side of the support; two grinding stones having a grinding surface on both sides; a guiderail fixated to the support to be positioned in a front side of the grinding stones; a guider engaged with the guiderail to be moved to the left or right; a front brush to come in contact with the grinding stone in an axial direction; a water collection hopper to collect grinding water, and to discharge it to the collection vessel through a discharge pipe; a grinding water hose; and a check valve arranged in the middle of the grinding water hose to be joined to the water collection hopper. |
