The present invention discloses a secondary battery frame which can prevent the inflow of gas through a cooling flow path or a duct connected to the flow path when the gas is generated in a secondary battery, and a battery module which includes the secondary battery frame. The secondary battery frame in accordance with the invention comprises: an upper-part cooling plate which is made of a heat conductive material in a plate shape; a lower-part cooling plate which creates a flow path with the upper-part cooling plate by being located on the side facing the upper-part cooling plate with a predetermined interval, and is made of the heat conductive material in a plate shape; and a main frame which includes a pouch-like external cover unit for the secondary battery having two ends connected to four unit frames and enveloping the upper and lower-part cooling plates. An opening is formed on the side of the two unit frames for opening the flow path. A concave-convex unit which corresponds to the upper and lower shapes of the at least two unit frames is formed on the main frame.
