A METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRIGGERING A URL LOAD REQUEST FROM A BROWER

Disclosed are a method and an apparatus that enables a user to trigger one or more uniform resource locator (URL) load requests on one or more background tabs while displaying the current browsing webpage on the foreground tab. The browser is able to provide one or more address spaces allowing a user to input URLs to trigger URL load requests on one or more background tabs while displaying same foreground tab on the browser. The browser is able to display a loading process with respect to one or more URL load requests issued in the background tabs in the foreground tab. The browser is able to receive one or more commands from one or more address spaces on the foreground tab to execute one or more applications. The browser eliminates the need to switch to a new tab to trigger one or more URL load requests in new tabs and enhances the browsing experience of the user.
