The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a thermochromic window and a thermochromic window manufactured thereby, and more specifically, to a manufacturing method for a thermochromic window, which has a transmittance of sunlight varying in response to temperature, and a thermochromic window manufactured by the same. For this, the present invention comprises: a first thermochromic substance coating step of forming a thermochromic substance coating on a substrate; a metal substance coating step of forming a metal substance coating on the thermochromic coating film; a heat treatment step of changing the metal coating film into an island shape through heat treatment; a second thermochromic substance coating step of forming a coating of the thermochromic substance on the thermochromic coating film, on which the metal substance has been formed in an island shape; and an etching step of removing the metal substance through etching.
