The present invention relates to a device for preventing falling of the gravity shaft of a machine tool, wherein falling of the gravity shaft may be prevented by maintaining a minimum voltage until a brake operates by reducing a voltage drop rate using a second capacitor if a momentary power loss occurs by detecting the voltage drop of the main power. The present invention comprises: a rectifier connected to the main power; a main capacity connected to the rectifier; IGBT connected to the main capacity; a gravity shaft motor connected to the IGBT; a brake driving unit connected to the gravity shaft motor; a power monitoring circuit connect to the main capacitor; a relay connected between the power monitoring circuit and IGBT; and a second capacitor connected to the relay. |
