A light emitting device (LED) may include a first semiconductor layer; an active layer formed on the first semiconductor layer and configured to generate first light having a first wavelength; a second semiconductor layer, formed on the active layer; and a plurality of semiconductor nano-structures arranged apart from each other and formed on the second semiconductor layer.
