PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket issuing device which is capable of preventing unwritten cards from being wrongly oriented while stowing them in a card stacker.SOLUTION: A ticket issuing device comprises a card stacker 11 into which unwritten cards 3 are stored as card media before being issued as tickets. The card stacker 11 accommodates a weight 40 which is placed on a stack of unwritten cards 3 and presses the unwritten cards 3 from above. The card stacker 11 has a card stowing part 23 (slope part 25) for aligning the unwritten cards 3 in the same orientation in the card stacker 11. The weight 40 has an interference avoiding portion 41 having a shape corresponding to the card stowing part 23 (slope part 25) so as not to interfere with the card stowing part 23 (slope part 25) in the card stacker 11. |
