<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of detecting the presence or absence of abnormalities while energizing an excitation current to a coil of one phase during an operation stop of a stepping motor, and of preventing a rotation position of a rotor from being shifted from a position at an operation by a multi-phase excitation system.SOLUTION: Abnormality detection processing means 31, in a case where no abnormality is detected at abnormality detection processes S1 to S5 of energizing an excitation current to a coil of one phase during an operation stop of a stepping motor 1, executes an auxiliary process C of controlling motor energization circuits 21A and 21B so as to energize an excitation current to multi-phase coils 2A and 2B by an energization pattern immediately before the operation stop, as a next process to the abnormality detection processes.</p> |
